The Examination Department of the Central Sanskrit University (CSU), New Delhi oversees the organization and administration of the end-semester-examinations, which serve as entrance tests for admission to various academic courses. It is also responsible for evaluating the performance of students taking semester end examinations in subjects/courses such as Prak-Shastri (12th), Shastri (BA), and Acharya (MA).
Additionally, the Examination Department manages the assessment of students’ performance in both semester end examinations and internal assessments. Following the decision of the CSU, semester end examinations are held twice a year in April/May and November/December respectively. Students meeting the 75% attendance requirement for each semester receive Admit Cards to participate in the semester end examinations.
The Examination department provides the Scriber/Writer to the Divyang students at the time of examination as per the Rules & Approval of Competent Authority.
